Have you been taught other beliefs? How do you know they are true? Is Jesus actually God?

As for me, most founders of religions had PRIVATE revelations. Have you noticed? I’m sorry, but that’s not good enough for me. They could have fantasized the whole thing! My Founder, Jesus, had thousands of eyewitnesses to His revelations. He offers the free gift of salvation by grace. All you have to do is accept His gift. Happily, salvation comes with many spiritual benefits: joy, peace, love, self-control, many answers to prayer. Many have attacked God's Word the Bible. But God has not only ensured its survival, but He made it the most influential Book in history! He inspired some 40 writers over more than 1,000 years to write God's thoughts. One theme throughout: redemption. Such a unified book is impossible without supernatural authorship. The Bible has been documented and verified more than any other book of old. It tells what happened in the beginning. Before your prophets. Jesus came before other prophets, and His Word and miracles lovingly supercede others who want to...

Wow! Why would anyone reject God's very best gift ever?

Wow! Help me understand why anyone would reject their Creator’s greatest gift in the universe: eternal life with Jesus. Some religions torture or behead people. Some want to control you. Jesus wants to love you and give you life to the full. He says, “I am the way, the truth and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”  His gift of new life to me has uplifted me and I am overjoyed at the outcome: blessings upon blessings, even during troubles and heartaches. Jesus has given me hope and soaring, never-ending joy, no matter what, even during troubles I am going through! It's all about the greatest love above and beyond all you could ask or imagine! And we know Jesus is God with the Father. He told religious leaders, sons of Abraham, that He, Jesus, was I AM. And the religious leaders decided to have Jesus killed, because they knew Jesus claimed to be God (and now there is overwhelming evidence)! What do you have against God's love?! The love of God is greater fa...

God through Jesus can refresh you!

I have felt weary and lonely. More importantly, Jesus came to earth to understand what we go through. I'm being very honest: there was NO solution to me until I invited Jesus into my life and trusted Him to take over completely. Now He refreshes me and I'm never alone! Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.   For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30 Take time to think slowly about this and invite Jesus to apply it to your life: A psalm of David. 1  The  Lord  is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2       He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3       he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths      for his name’s sake. 4  Even though I walk      through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil,      for...

Struggling with finances?

I know that often we learn most about God's grace during financial struggles.  Work like everything depends on you; pray like everything depends on God.  He has a purpose for the financial situation we face, and we go through different seasons of life. This, too, shall pass. Talk to Jesus about your finances and leave the outcome to Him. Read His Word. Meet with other believers - they may give you advice and leads for a better financial future.  This may help: https://www.keepbelieving.com/sermon/elijah-and-the-ravens/#:~:text=Elijah%20and%20the%20Ravens%201%29%20God%20commanded%20and,beginning%20and%20ending%20of%20every%20season%20of%20life.

Bible's Roman Road to God's sending Jesus to rescue us if we accept Him

Will you send me your answers to the following? 1. Do you believe there's a Heaven and Hell? 2. Do you believe Jesus is God's Son and that He was with God and is God? 3. If you were to die right now, what would happen to your existence? 4. When you die, what reason would you give to Jesus if He asked you why should He welcome you in His Heaven? 5. If you were wrong with any of the above, would you want to know? God says in His Word the Bible: https://www.oakpointe.org/the-romans-road/  John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.  John 5:24 24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has cr...

Do you want to be sure you are loved and accepted by God?

My name is David. You indicated that you are not sure about your relationship with Jesus. To begin, here are some questions: Do you share the intimacies of the Christian life with other believers? Read the following in 1 John 1:6-7:  If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all [ a ]  sin. Do you have a deep awareness of your sin against the Word and love of God? Read 1 John 1:8-10:  If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.   If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.   If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. Do you live in conscious obedience to the Word of God?...

Find out more about living for Jesus

We find truth by asking, "what would Jesus do?" in everything daily. 1 Corinthians 10:31 "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God." As we converse & partner with God, studying His Word, we progress toward this satisfying goal: Galatians 5:22-23: “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." I appreciate your desire to investigate Christianity. If I can help you with on your spiritual journey, let me know. My hope and prayer is that you will experience God's peace. If you accepted Jesus as your Lord, He has restored your relationship with God. He has a wise plan for your life In your spiritual search for meaning, ask God: "God, I don't fully understand Your character or how to be restored to You. Will You please reveal Yourself to me, so I can discover and experience who You are? So I can accept the offer that you alone can mak...
