Bonus help for God's best

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. Romans 12:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade. This inheritance is kept for you in heaven.”    I Peter 1: 3-4 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God” 1 Cor. 2: 12. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.  Galatians 2: 20 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lor...

Keep growing with Jesus!

MORE TO GROW - I encourage you to grow in your relationship with Jesus by talking often with Him throughout each day, reading HIs Word, the Bible daily, meeting with other believers and serving others. God loves you and eagerly desires a relationship with you. Please write back and tell me if this helped you so far. I prayed for you today. Let me ask you: If you were told that Jesus is God, created you and has always loved you, is that something you would like to be true? Receiving Jesus into your life is the first step in tuning into God so that He hears our prayers. I trust you accept Him for the long-term: for blessings here and hereafter, and not just to bargain with Him. The results are above and beyond all we can ask or think—if we leave the outcome to Him. He doesn’t give us a pass from all sickness and storms, but He promises to walk with us through every challenge. As for me, most founders of religions had PRIVATE revelations. Have you noticed? I’m sorry, but that’s ...

More Good News just for you

GOOD NEWS (SHORT) - The Bible says, "God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5: 8) Jesus offers every person who trusts Him as Savior forgiveness and a new, life-giving relationship with God.   This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17 Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me" (in the Bible, John 14: 6). I encourage you to read what Jesus said about Himself in the Gospel of John in a Bible, or online at http://downloadbible.godlife.com/ The messages you receive from GodLife.com will help you learn what it means to trust and follow Jesus. I will be glad to answer your questions and help you know Him better.

Jesus living in you - what it means

I'm excited that you made the decision to accept Christ as your Savior. This is the most important decision you will ever make! I know that I have never regretted it! When you asked Christ to be your savior, several things happened. -Christ came into your life (Revelation 3: 20) -You became a child of God (John 1: 12) -Your sins were forgiven (Col 1: 14) -You now have the gift of eternal life (1 John 5: 11) These are just a few of God's amazing promises to those who follow him. Do they make sense to you? Becoming a follower of Christ is just the first step on a fantastic journey, and most of us need help on that trip. We are completely committed to helping people find God, and then grow in their relationship with Him. Do you know of a strong Bible-believing church in your area? Finding and getting involved in a good church is critical to growing in your walk with God. There you hopefully will find people who have followed Christ for a long time, who can help gu...
