Keep growing with Jesus!
MORE TO GROW - I encourage you to grow in your relationship with Jesus by talking often with Him throughout each day, reading HIs Word, the Bible daily, meeting with other believers and serving others. God loves you and eagerly desires a relationship with you.
Please write back and tell me if this helped you
so far.
I prayed for you today. Let me ask you: If you
were told that Jesus is God, created you and has always loved you, is that
something you would like to be true?
Receiving Jesus into your life is the first step in tuning into God so that He hears our prayers. I trust you accept Him for the long-term: for blessings here and hereafter, and not just to bargain with Him. The results are above and beyond all we can ask or think—if we leave the outcome to Him. He doesn’t give us a pass from all sickness and storms, but He promises to walk with us through every challenge.
As for me, most founders of religions had
PRIVATE revelations. Have you noticed? I’m sorry, but that’s not good enough
for me. They could have fantasized the whole thing! My Founder, Jesus, had
thousands of eyewitnesses to His revelations. I want to caution you, though.
God doesn’t bargain, Nor can His favor be earned. He offers the free gift of
salvation by grace. All you have to do is accept His gift. Happily, salvation
comes with many spiritual benefits: joy, peace, love, self-control, many
answers to prayer (if asked according to His will).
Another interesting fact: how much does the average person know of the entire history of knowledge? Two percent or less? If someone hasn’t found God in that 2%, then surely He is ready in the other 98% to welcome a seeker like you!
Two surprises: But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor
the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these
things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches
everything, even the depths of God. 1 Corinthians 2:8-10
Another surprise: Jesus is unlike any other religion. Others say you must do good works to be saved. But Jesus says it's a free gift: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10
